Space Needle elevators travel at 10 mph, 14 feet per second, 800 feet per minute, or as fast as a parachutist or a raindrop falls to earth. Toddlers and older kids will enjoy the elevator ride and the view down on the city. For a special treat, have a bite to eat (or just dessert) at the revolving restaurant (reservations recommended) The food is just ok, but the view is fantastic and kids will love watching the city go by
